Mountain Buggy Urban Jungle...catch the sneak peak of what we will be shipping just before the New Year!

After months and months of wondering what the new Mountain Buggy Urban is going to look like we have a photo or two to share. The boat is on the water with all of the new Mountain Buggy Strollers just in time for the holidays. We were just informed that the new models will be shipping to us on December 18th if all goes right. That means we should have them out to you on December 23rd.


You will notice the logo is bigger and solid black like it was in previous years just a little bigger. This will be a good way for you to identifty the new 2009/2010 product. We only have pictures in the Chilli single and the black double. We hope to have more by the end of the month when the new strollers arrive.
Here are the improvements to the new 2010 Mountain Buggy Urban Jungle and Duo:
-Pricing is rolling back. Yes, in this economy a price decrease is always appreciated.


-All duo's now have 2 hoods instead of the single hood.
-All Urban Jungles and Duo's are now 5 cm smaller on the wheel base to help you get thru a standard doorway that much easier.
-All Urban Jungle Carrycots and Duo Single Carrycots come in all colors so that you can match your stroller to your carrycot. The Duo twin is still available in black only.
-Detachable bumper bar will now be included for both the Urban Jungle and Duo.
-All sun hoods will now have a flick out sun visor to offer you more sun protection for your little one.
-Bottle holder now included too.
-Tire valve is now at an angle to help with airing up your tires.

The Las Vegas Santa Run is one we will not soon forget!

On Friday my family and I took a quick 4 hour drive out to Las Vegas to stay the weekend and participate in the Las Vegas Santa Run. It was a 5k and all who entered recieved a Santa suit to wear race day. You see this race was as much about the Christmas Spirit as it was about setting a Guinness world record. I am still waiting to hear if we set the record. My children were most excited about it! while I was excited I was also a little apprehensive. Have you ever dressed 6 Santa's? You do not go anywhere quietly...ha ha!

Saturday morning came and 10:00am quickly showed up as the time to start the race. I am soooo happy it started so late as it was freeeezing. Well, for a California family it was in the 30-40's...cold.

We got to have pictures with a couple of Show Girls...good or bad for a 6 and 8 year old...I do not know. We even got to see a very sparkly santa.The kids were a little unsure of this one!

We hit mile 2 1/2 and I thought to myself...whew...we have not lost one of our 6 Santa's. As I stopped to take a picture with the rest of the family my little hot dogger decided he would keep on running. So, run all of us did looking for our oldest triplet. We did not see him in the last half mile, we did not see him at the finish line, we did not see him anywhere. Being that we were in unfamiliar territory my husband went looking for "Mr.C" while the 4 of us stood and looked into the sea of Santa's. Very scary.

What I failed to mention to you is that I put a homing device on my children...kidding...no, we used labels on the inside hem with our "Morse Family" name and my cell number. I had ordered these from Label Daddy and use them all of the time. I love them. Mr C was able to find a nice family to call me. I was sooo happy to see that call from a 702 area code you have no idea. He had been missing for 15-20 minutes. I honestly had no idea how else we would have found him if it had not been for that phone call. So, the moral of the story is..."if you have children that like to wonder put a label on their shirts with your cell number so that they can be returned safely to you." Come run with us this Saturday, December 5th in Las Vegas! Want to run the 5th Annual Las Vegas Great Santa Run! This year, Las Vegas is teaming up with Golden Gaming, Inc to take back the World Record and put Opportunity Village and Las Vegas back on the map as the World's Largest Santa Gathering! Our event is one of many around the world competing for this title, including Liverpool, Manchester, Tasmania, Hungary, Italy, Canada, Denmark, Dublin and many other places. But with the help of people from around the United States, we are sure to set the record in 2009!!




This is a Family event. Everyone gets a Santa Suit with their entry into this fun 5k race/walk. We will be walking and running in our Santa Suits to the finish line. Who knows our family just might help break the World Record. We would love for you to join us but, just dont have us look for you in the sea of red and white Santa Suits. Strollers are allowed on the course so how bad can it be??? This will help put all of us in the Holiday Spirit!

A message to all parents wondering what Mountian Buggy has been up to:

"we’re going great guns at mountain buggy!

Actually we’re going better than ever before. The last six months have been busy, really busy, and we want to tell you just what has been going on.

We were rapt that our close neighbours, phil&teds most excellent buggy company, took us over which has meant that we’ve been able to continue operating out of Wellington, New Zealand. YEEHAA!

So we’re still creating jobs here with 90% of a product’s development lifecycle remaining in New Zealand: research and development, design, marketing, finance, sales, logistics and operations. The need for mountain buggy to be commercially viable led us to move the manufacturing to phil&teds best in class (ISO 9001) facilities in China.

Some bold decisions have had to be made to get the business back on its feet and there hasn’t been a lot of sleep, much less time to read the latest snow report and head for the mountains. We’ve been hard at work rationalising the range, enhancing our great products, developing phenomenal new ones and developing a new look and feel to the brand.

So we’ve been all go, and we haven’t even scratched the surface. So keep your ears to the ground and eyes peeled for our updates as they roll off the press."
